Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

This website (amritbasra.com) is operated by Amritpal Singh Basra. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Who to contact

For any question about this policy or about your information, email enquiry@amritbasra.com

What is collected

Information you give directly. If you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address and whatever you write in your message. This is used only to reply to you. It is not sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit — the pages you view, the approximate region you visit from, the type of device and browser you use, and the site or ad that referred you. This is aggregate information used to understand which pages people find useful.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies from the following third parties:

Google Analytics measures how many people visit, which pages they view, and how they found the site. Google's own privacy policy applies to the data it collects: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Meta Pixel records visits and clicks so that advertising on Facebook and Instagram can be measured and shown to relevant audiences. Meta's data policy applies to the data it collects: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you using this site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and adjust what Meta shows you in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

Links to streaming services

Pages on this site link out to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and YouTube Music. Once you follow one of those links you are on that company's platform, and their privacy policy governs what they collect. This site has no access to your account on any of them.

How long information is kept

Contact form messages are kept while there is a reason to keep them, and deleted when there is not. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the settings and policies of Google and Meta respectively.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email the address above and the request will be handled within a reasonable period.

If you are in Australia, the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles apply, and you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au. If you are in the UK or EU, UK GDPR or GDPR may give you additional rights, including the right to object to processing and the right to data portability.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
